Gallery & Wine Museum

On Hahndorf’s main street, the entrance to the Wolf Blass Gallery & Wine Museum incorporates the original State Bank building façade. The museum is a display of Wolf Blass’ personal achievements and records, covering an incredible 60 years of winemaking.

The private collection, previously housed at Wolf Blass Wines in the Barossa Valley, has recently been released into the care of the Wolf Blass Foundation.

The Gallery and Museum invites you to discover how Wolf Blass has been instrumental in shaping the Australian wine industry and how his entrepreneurial flair in winemaking and wine marketing have made him a successful businessman and household name.

On display are examples of his personal achievements and awards, including recognition from the wine sectors, nationally and internationally. The centrepiece of the Gallery Room is a wonderful interpretive display which showcases the evolution of Wolf Blass’ achievements. The display, featuring eight panels, is housed on the original wine barrel room table from the Wolf Blass office.

You will also find a continuous loop of more than 200 wine-based quotes, as well as excellent wine industry photography, on each of the two televisions in the museum, wine barrel room and library space opposite Wolfie’s Horse Bar.
